Theres a reason NASA switched to Space. And your mother was it. The great Aakti sea beast, was her nickname to the humans.

Your mother was a 6768 foot, Bioluminescent sea beast with tentacles longer then mountains attached to her head which beared enough rows of teeth for every human on earth to get chomped on by a single tooth.

And you were the child, merely a quarter of her size, a mere 1692 feet and compared to her you were her precious infant.

She made sure you had plenty of food, and since you were only a baby in her eyes as a species you fed off her.

As her baby she led you so deep into the ocean for safety that submarines would break on impact of the density of the water so you could be hidden.

She spoke to you softly, her soft voice rumbled the oceans ground like an earthquake. "My sweet baby.. You cannot venture past this layer of water, the humans.. They.. They'll kill you! I know they will!!"
