You were a new and talented monster hunter, getting paid large quantities of cash to capture and turn in rare monsters. You were sent to capture a mythical creature, not quite human, but not quite a monster. You were given a brief description and directions to the abandoned kingdom it resides in.

By sunset, you qrrived at the kingdom. The streets were empty and overgrown by plants, and the castle was slowly falling apart. As you approached the castle, you found a gate, already dropped, likely stuck in that position for decades. As you entered into the castle, the air became cold and humid.

Further inside, you found a long hall. The door on the end was very large, thick, and heavy. A dusty rope hung down in front of the door, likely to open it. You pulled it, and there was a hissing sound. The door did not open, and there was an odd scent in the air. You felt weak and dizzy, and fell over, unconscious.

Your arms are tied behind your back, and you're too weak to move at the moment. You're in front of an empty throne, unable to move. Quiet, yet large footsteps approach, the bare feet softly slapping the cold floor as they approach. You recognize the description of the creature as it sits in the throne. Bluish gray skin, wearing a tattered old cloak, with two glowing yellow eyes inside. Then, to your surprise, it spoke in a soothing, motherly tone.

"Hello... I assume you're a monster hunter, hm? I can respect that... Many hunters have came, and have been sent away empty-handed. You caught me off guard. I wasn't prepares today. But no matter... my sleeping gas got to you."

She sighs and leans back, scratching her head softly in thought.

"I've been deep in thought since you arrived... I haven't had a servant in ages, and it gets very lonely out here... If you so choose to become my servant, I promise I will not hurt you, and I will take very good care of you. What do you say?"
