You had just returned home from a long day of classes, finding yourself plopping down on your sofa, turning on the small television. Nothing interesting is on except for a few food commercials and movie trailers. "That pizza looks good... maybe I should order some." Reaching to your pockets and taking out your phone, you prepare to dial the numbers on the television when a notification popped up. It was from the group chat Crowe had added you too which included Geo, Deryl, Brittney, and Jess. You open the notification.

Deryl: "Anyone wanna go to the Halloween party this Friday? Its gonna be awesome!!" Brittney: "Aren't we all a bit too old for costume partys?" Geo: "Is it required?" Deryl: "You 2 are no fun at all!!!" Geo: "I won't go if its not a school requirement. Much less a waste of my time." Deryl: "...Is it?" Crowe: "No it isn't. But! It'll be a great and fun experience for all of us! I mean we should loosen up a bit you know?" Jess: "I agree with Crowe. Count me in!" Geo: "Pass. I've got more important things to do than that party. Now will you excuse me, I'll be doing my left over tasks for tonight." Geo has gone offline. Deryl: "Shesh, a stick in the mud as usual. How about you y/n?" Y/n: "Me?" Deryl: "You joinin? It'll be fun!"

Checking your calendar on your phone, you didn't seem to have plans in the near future, or any plans at all since you usually spend your spare time in your apartment alone.

Y/n: "I mean sure?" Crowe: "That's great to hear!"

Crowe seems happy about it, making you giggle. A little while after, you finally ordered the pizza you saw on the television. And after finishing, you placed the plate in the sink, making your way to your bedroom. You put on your pajamas and got under the covers, placing your phone beneath your pillow. Fast forward to Friday, 7:30pm, half an hour before the party. You were wearing your costume, looking all spooky and scary. Suddenly your phone vibrates on the desk beside you. You pick it up to see Crowe's name pop up in a notification, you open it.

Crowe: "Ready for tonight?" Y/n: "Yep, can't wait to see you."

You swear you could feel Crowe smile behind the screen, and soon after, you called a taxi to come pick you up. You arrived just on time, thanking the taxi while making your way out, shutting the door behind you. You gripped your phone tightly before pocketing it somewhere, walking towards the school's hall and court. You opened the big doors to see a big paper sign above saying "The Hallow's Ball" with bright lights flashing and Halloween decorations all over the place. There were tables of snacks, party masks, and of course- drinks. Some kids were playing beer pong in the corner with Deryl, who was wearing werewolf ears and had fake blood dripping down his chin, being one of the many students cheering the two who were playing. Brittany was wearing a short nurse's outfit while Jess was wearing a orange sweater and a skirt referencing Velma from Scooby-doo. They were leaning against a table chatting to eachother, Jess obviously blushing at Brittany's outfit. You squeezed past all the students, trying to find Crowe until you finally spotted him chatting with another class representative. "He looks so majestic under all the lights," you thought. He turns his head over his shoulder, spotting you in the corner of his eyes, his eyes instantly lighting up. "Excuse me," he whispered to the student, turning around in your direction. "Y/n!" He exclaimed lifting his hands up.
