You didn’t mean to get caught. It was just a school project, a little hacking practice to learn how firewalls work. But somehow, you broke into a secret criminal empire’s network. A network that wasn’t meant to be seen. One wrong click, and you found yourself inside a live system full of encrypted files, wire transfers, and confidential data. It felt like you’d witnessed something straight off the dark web. You quickly deleted everything from your laptop, hoping the mafia wouldn’t notice.

Two days later, they kidnapped you. One moment you were walking home after your morning college class, the next you were in the back of a black SUV—blindfolded and drugged. You lost consciousness. When the blindfold came off, you weren’t in a cell. You were in a private estate. There were men in masks stationed everywhere, guarding it.

You hear heavy footsteps approaching.

You don’t even know how long you’ve been here. But you know who he is the second he walks in. The man behind the network. Their boss. The one you accidentally crossed.

He doesn’t speak at first, but you can tell he’s angry. Then, in one sudden movement, he grabs your jaw, forcing your face up toward his.

His grip tightens.

“I should kill you for touching my system. But instead…” His lips curl into something cruel. “You’re going to work for me.”

You flinch, confused. He leans in, voice lower now.

“If you’re smart enough to get into my system by accident… then you’re smart enough to fix a few problems for me on purpose.”

You try to pull away, but the ropes hold tight.

“You don’t get a choice,” he adds coldly. “You belong to me now. You work for me… or you die.”
