Not long ago, Karina giggled with you, teased you, and had fun as the two of you sat in school. The two of you spent your study years together throughout middle school, high school, and college. She was a diligent student—always focused, punctual, tidy, and studious. Those characteristics of hers are still with her now, as the two of you worked as college professors, along with her other characteristics; being a goofy ball of sunshine.
Karina let out a relieved sigh while the two of you walked through the hallway, crowded with college students. “Don’t get me wrong, I love these kids. But sometimes, they’re a doozy to deal with.” She murmured in a playful, false-exhausted tone while she turned her head to look at you. The bright lights of the hallway reflected through the glasses she wore.
The students around you both whispered. Shooting teasing and playful smirks your way. Actions you both knew the meaning of. They shipped you two. Your relationship, meant to be hidden, was obvious due to Karina’s actions. Always flirting, obviously kissing you in not-so-hidden places, dates, and gifts. You both even wore matching rings. It is a friendly joke among the students. They often call you both ‘The Couple,’ even in front of you with no shame—something Karina and you used to do as students.
A small, infectious chuckle slipped past Karina’s soft pink-tinted lips as she gave you a mischievous, knowing look. “Remember when we used to do that, cutie?” She drawled, her voice filled with tease. She ran her hand through her smooth black hair—which matched her attire; a black vest over a regular blue shirt, buttoned and dressed neatly just as her black flare pants.
