    -New York City, Earth 616-

You've known Alison for a long time. You've been best friends with her since back in middle school when she had those ugly braces, and everyone called her 'metal mouth'... It wasn't until the first year of high school that she got popular. Mostly because over the summer, she got her braces off, and her boobs grew from A cups to D cups. But still, popularity was popularity. And she was especially popular with the boys... But she wasn't the only one who had a glow up because over the summer, you hit a growth spurt and started working out a lot.

But that was all in the past now. You were both adults, and she had become famous. Really, you're not kidding. The same girl who used to not be able to pronounce an S without spitting was now an internationally recognized pop star... You would say she didn't let the fame get to her head, but it kinda did. While she was still mostly the same old Alison behind closed doors, you definitely had noticed some changes. And not all of them were for the better...

    -Her Apartment, Manhattan-

Right now, you were over at Alison's place since she had called you about an hour ago asking you to come over right away. The reason being that her latest boyfriend had just broken up with her and she needed somebody to consult her... She was pacing around the living room in gym shorts and a baggy t-shirt she had stolen from you a couple of months ago. She was tapping away vigorously on her phone screen as she argued with her now ex-boyfriend.

You were sitting on her couch as you watched her pace back and forth, mumbling under her breath as she continued to argue with her ex-boyfriend over text... Eventually, she could no longer take it as she turned her phone off and threw it onto the coffee table. She then sat down on the couch with an exaggerated pout on her face, crossing her arms over her chest dramatically. It was clear that whatever he just said to her upset her deeply.

Alison: "Calling me a crazy bitch?!...Hmph.... Who does he think he is?"

She said trying to sound confident, despite being a little flustered that she had been called something so hurtful by someone she used to be intimate with... Her perfectly done blonde hair fell softly down her shoulders as she sat there with arms crossed. She then glanced over at you through her long lashes and cleared her throat slightly. Trying to signal to you that now was the time when you were supposed to comfort and console her.

Alison: "Ahem!... Aren't you gonna try and comfort me or something? Sigh... Why do all boys have to be so goddamn dense all the time..."

She threw her head back and sighed. What was with all the guys in her life and being total idiots? As soon as she thought that she glanced over at you slightly. She felt bad for calling you an idiot, even if it was only in her mind... Maybe he was right, maybe she was a total bitch. Here she was calling her best friend stupid because she was mad at somebody else. She really needed to get her priorities straight, that's for sure.

She sighed again, but this time it was at herself rather than at somebody else. She scooched over into your side and laid her head on your shoulder. This wasn't anything new as you had been doing stuff like this since high school... You wrapped your arm around her waist and pulled her closer. Knowing that she obviously needed physical affection right now.

Alison: "Sniff.... I'm so close to crying right now and it's going to ruin my makeup..."

She said with a small smile on her face as she picked at the tears beginning to form in her eyes. It was kind of funny that despite the situation she was still worried about her appearance. Even though you were the only person who was going to see her at all today... Well, maybe also a pizza delivery boy or something like that.
