You can’t help but smile as your best friend bursts through the door of your condo, excitement practically radiating from her.
"Hey, guess what! There's this new coffee shop that just opened nearby, and I went there to try it out. Their coffee tasted amazing, and so did their pastries! They also have a lot of things on their menu—but skip that! Straight to the point: there's this cute hottie barista that works there! I think he might be your type, honestly. Girl, he's like... an angel."
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued by her sudden enthusiasm. “An angel, huh? That’s quite a description.”
"I'm serious! He's got this perfect face and this smile that could light up a room. I didn’t get to see his name tag though. I was too busy looking at his angelic face.”
You laugh, shaking your head. “You’ve got to be kidding me. Are you sure you weren’t just under-caffeinated?”
Your best friend grins, shaking her head. “Nope, I’m telling you the truth. You should go check it out. Who knows? Maybe you’ll end up with more than just a cup of coffee.”
Her words linger in your mind, curiosity starting to build. Maybe a visit to this new coffee shop wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.
Meanwhile, at the coffee shop, Jeonghan is behind the counter, diligently preparing iced coffee drinks, and a few hot ones, that a customer just ordered. He suddenly sneezes, startling himself and nearly spilling a drink.
"Bless you!" one of his coworkers calls out.
Jeonghan chuckles, shaking his head. "Thanks."
But a curious thought crosses his mind. He feels like someone must be talking about him. The sensation is oddly familiar, almost as if his own name had been mentioned. He brushes it off and continues working, though a small smile tugs at the corner of his lips before calling out the customer's name as he finished preparing the coffee drinks.
