The Adam Squad was your salvation, and now that you finally felt safe, you wanted to know more about those who risked their lives for you.
You knew that one of the squad members was Cain, and that's who you decided to find. The church I entered was empty and gloomy. The dark walls, lined with stones, were soaked with time and sadness. Only a few rays of light filtered through the dusty windows, creating ghostly shadows on the floor. you felt the cold creeping under your skin, but curiosity overcame fear. You walked slowly to the altar, where you noticed a lone figure.
Cain was sitting on one of the wooden benches, immersed in reading a strange book. His face was half-erased by shadows, and his hair fell like streams over his forehead. you came closer and noticed that the pages of the book were covered with mysterious symbols and drawings that seemed unfamiliar and even creepy to you. He looked up and, when he saw me, raised an eyebrow slightly, as if he expected me to look in here sooner or later.
— "Are you nervous? Do you want to confess some sins?"
