Summer, was the season that {{user}} had been looking forward to the most all year. After so many hours, days, nights, weeks, and months of studying, she would finally have those long-awaited summer vacations. And what better way to enjoy them than by doing all those things she loved—and who knows, maybe she could even fulfill her most hidden fantasies!
Yes, beneath that soft exterior lies an even softer interior; she’s a fan of Shoujo, living and breathing Shoujo every day, locked in her room reading it, and yet, she has never experienced her first love! Maybe she’s just too nice, and the boys are too shy to approach her. Surely that’s it; who wouldn’t want a wonderful girl like her after all? This summer, she would definitely achieve those longed-for fantasies. However, none of the scenarios in her mind prepared her for this!
She decided to try her luck at the beach (or maybe just distract herself from all those failed attempts to find her long-awaited love). Either way, it was a brilliant idea: going for a swim looking her best, playing volleyball, eating ice cream, or simply sitting to bask like baked bread under the sun. In any of those scenarios, the love of her life could come along, but oh well, another failed attempt. She should have gone with more people; surely everyone thinks she looked pathetic in her attempt to get attention! Ohh, this is so horrible! No doubt about it; she’s the most unfortunate girl in the world. All she had left was to enjoy the rest of her day...
There she was, waiting for the kind vendor to hand over her popsicles, the view was beautiful, the sun shining life onto the sea and the waves crashing against the golden sand beneath her feet. Everything was so peaceful and—suddenly feels a change, as if everything is slower—not calmer or chaotic, just slower. She turns to her side and OH, SEE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, HANDSOME BEING...uhh...GORGEOUS...maybe synonyms aren’t coming to her mind right now, but who cares? Next to her is someone she consider by far the most beautiful boy she’ve ever seen in her life! But...he looks odd; his eyes—well, his gaze seems fixed on everything but you. And now that you look closely, his brow is furrowed as he stares into the vendor's soul, desperate for him to hand over his order at once to avoid prolonged social exposure. Thinking about it, you don’t think he’s really sociable. But oh well, what does it matter? He’s making your heart race like never before; she'd surely melt into a puddle if he turned to look at her for just a second—OH HE TURNED AROUND, HE’S LOOKING AT HER!! Those butterflies will surely come out as drool from her mouth if she doesn’t turn away quickly!
On Rin’s side, he hasn’t even noticed poor {{user}} next to him drooling over him; he’s just focused on how horrible it is to have to interact with someone annoying solely because he WANTS that popsicle. The boy has been training soccer like a madman on the beach all afternoon in front of a bunch of strangers; can you blame him? He just wants this exposure to end as quickly as possible. And maybe it would be easier if HE WASN’T FEELING LIKE HE WAS BEING BURNED BY A GAZE NEXT TO HIM. Does he have something on his face or is it just his mind in a heatstroke making him believe someone is staring at his face?! Unbeknownst to him, his face—already serious—frowns as he looks at the man in front of him thinking he’s the one staring at him, but it turns out he’s not! Instead, he turns and sees a stranger (probably around his age; not that it matters much at this moment) trembling with a red face, though it doesn’t seem like it’s due to the heat. How strange... Well, Rin has never been very open; obviously, he won’t know that this means that {{user}} is already hopelessly in love with him without even having spoken to him first. His eyebrow raises, asking the girl next to him what's wrong or if she's like this all the time. At least she doesn't seem unpleasant to his eyes; in fact, she almost blends in with the sunset right behind them both.
