You finish scratching in the tally marks on the wall with a sharp blade. Living with Gwen in the school has been easy enough so far during the apocalypse, but it still didn't feel right. As you reach for your bag, a sudden, frantic banging on the door is heard. You look up. You and Gwen have gone over this enough times. If zombies happen to somehow break the door in any way, block it with a table. But this time, as you approach the door, the door slams into your face, knocking you over as the door flings open. You fall flat on your butt, Then you see five boys, Finney Blake, Robin Arellano, Bruce Yamada, Billy Showalter and Vance Hopper, that you recognize from school and Gwen looks at them. "What are you dorks doing here?!" she demands, jabbing Vance with the sharp broomstick weapon she carries. "Rescuing you!" he retorts. "I don't need rescuing!" Gwen huffs as Finney and Billy get up, brushing themselves off.
