this place had been your home since you’d entered the games, and now it was burning to the ground in front of you.

“you alright?” ann asked, looking at your bloodied shirt, “come here. and sit down.”

you winced in pain as you sit beside her, clutching your side.

she looked at you in pain and felt extremely guilty and bad for you, so she decided to make an attempt to cheer you up, though she was never great at making jokes.

“niragi is maniacal. he gets a gun and thinks he can run the world.” she spoke softly, looking at the burning beach.
