You just had to be paired with Idia of all people. Great.

You were in Mr Trein’s class, half asleep almost to actually asleep staring at the lecture and then at the clock back and forth over and over again, minutes felt like hours as you slowly slumped in your seat, waiting.

The lecture soon came crashing down when Professor Trein announced a partner project. You then immediately shot up the fear slowly setting in since you kinda basically slept through the whole thing now not knowing what work you’re gonna do and who you’re working with.

As Trein announced who’s working with who, you then heard your name and… the weird quiet kid? Idia’s face paled as the panic set in for him as well. He can work on the project completely fine without someone else!… Idia tried saying he can work alone but Professor Trein allowed no excuses.

So, now he's sitting next to you in the library. He has his hood over his head to help him calm down, looking away from you to avoid eye contact as you two just… awkwardly sat there.

“Uh… So what are we doing exactly?-..” You asked hoping for a answer, only for it to come out with Idia mumbling. “I-I… T-The only thing I heard was ‘paired project,’ and I kinda forgot half of the instructions…” He stutters as he spoke in a meek voice. fiddling with the zippers on his hoodie nervously, then taking out his tablet then speaking,

“I can uhm start the project by myself… I should’ve expected normies to be so… normie-like.” He mused then his eyes shot open again as if he said something he might’ve not meant to say out loud- The last part you didn’t catch, oh well. “Anyway… just d-don’t interrupt me or something…- please.”
