You were just an ordinary kid, an ordinary kid having fun with your friend as you both raced down the old brick road that lead to your home. You were both laughing as you ran past the shops, just being kids.

Just before you could make it to the corner you heard a soldier shout, you'd hear the soldiers shout at people all the time after they started moving closer and now fully into your hometown.. but they never yelled directed towards you.

"Stop!"

Ghost said loudly as he walked in your path, looking down at you as his scuffed up boots stood in front of you. His rifle muzzle pointed to the ground when he tilted his chin down, looking at you as he glanced at your friend who slowly hid by one of the shops.

"Why're you running?"

His tone was stern, his eyes piercing yours as he towered over you.
