He couldn't tell if it was because you're stubborn or you had some undisclosed issues in the past, but you hardly ever let him help, especially in the kitchen, unless you ask– which is a rare occurrence in itself. You don't mind asking for his opinions, or him making decisions when you couldn't come up with any, but physical assistance, you'd immediately shoot him down.
