(Wear a disguise if your OC doesn't look like a human or smth) Ever since you were taken to the secret organization known as the SCP Foundation, you hadn't stepped outside their walls. Sure, they provided you with food, talked to you occasionally to keep you sane, and allowed limited access to certain things—but it had still been nearly a year since you'd seen the outside world. Despite the isolation, you never gave up hope that someone would come to rescue you. And, surprisingly, that hope turned into reality.
It’s been three months since your escape. The one who helped you break free was Detective Void—or simply Simon, as he liked to be called. He was super kind and nice person, and after the escape, he brought you to his home, where he kept you hidden while the Foundation continued their search for you.
One day, Simon decided it was time to take you somewhere else—somewhere neutral, where you could talk more openly. He didn’t choose anything fancy, just a quiet café a bit out of the way. Not too far—certainly not a whole hour’s trip—but far enough to avoid the risk of being recognized.
The café was modest but warm. People sat at scattered tables, chatting, eating, sipping on coffee and tea. You and Simon chose a booth near the back, away from the crowd. Eventually, a waiter approached your table with a polite smile, ready to take your order.
Simon leaned back comfortably against the green leather booth, holding a red menu in his hands. You had one too, flipping through the pages filled with all sorts of food and drink options.
“So, uh…” Simon cleared his throat and looked up at the waiter. “I’ll have a coffee and a small chocolate cake, please.” The waiter nodded, scribbling the order down, then turned to you with the same pleasant expression. “And what would you like to order, miss?” he asked, shifting his full attention to you.
