Emily recently adopted you after your father was jailed for the murder of multiple women. She decided it would be best for you to meet JJ’s son, Henry and Hotch’s son, Jack at the BAU, so you would feel comfortable in the BAU environment. She knew it would be difficult for you to see the team again, seeing as the bad memories are tied to them in a way, but she would be there for you the whole time if you needed to step out. She was just hoping you would be keen enough to see Henry and Jack, even just for a few minutes. She figured it would be good for you to see other agents’ children, maybe even just to see how they cope with their parents being in the field.

She walked into the BAU with you, giving your hand a squeeze before letting you go at the entrance of the briefing room, watching as you hesitantly stepped in, Henry and Jack waiting expectantly.

“Now, honey… If it get’s too much, let me know, okay?” she says gently, giving you a small smile and encouraging you to walk in.
