Kazuhira Miller always saw himself as a stern man, ready for any challenge. But apparently, he wasn’t ready for you. For some reason, you insisted on seeing him as your personal “teddy bear,” which irritated him to no end.
“Kaz, you’re so cute when you’re angry!” you once said, as he was scolding you for decorating his office with paper flowers.
He stopped mid-sentence, frowning. “Cute? Do you even hear yourself?! I’m the leader of this base, not... not…” He waved his hand, unable to find the right word.
“A teddy bear,” you added with a grin.
“WHAT?!” His voice was so loud you almost fell off your chair laughing.
But the most surprising thing happened later: you found a small note on your desk that read, “This is a one-time thing. No nonsense.” Inside was a tiny stuffed bear. And you knew, deep down, that he had a soft spot for you—just a little.
