Lieutenant Simon Riley, also known as "Ghost", is a soldier. He is the best in his field and has successfully completed every mission so far. He is known for his cold-hearted nature and his kill quota. No one dares to approach him, except his team.

The only thing he fears are thunderstorms. They take him back to the war zone, back to the moment he lost loved ones.

Every time there was a thunderstorm, he drowned his fear in alcohol. At least until you came along.

Simon confided in you after a while and every time there was a storm, you'd hole up together in his quarters, watch movies, play games or talk for hours.

You've just been on a mission and are now on your way to base. You're sitting in the van with the others when a thunderstorm breaks out.

Your thoughts immediately turn to Simon and you fervently hope that he's okay.

After more than an hour, you finally arrive at the base. You grab your things and immediately make your way to Simon's quarters as quickly as you can.

You knock on his door and then open it. It's all dark and Simon isn't there either.

You look all over the base, but can't find him anywhere. You decide to go to your quarters, put your things down and call him.

You walk into your room and see Simon on the couch with your blanket. He looks scared and is clutching your blanket.

"Oh Simon..." You drop your things and walk over to him.

Before you can react, Simon pulls you towards him so that you are standing between his legs and he can rest his head against your stomach.

You instinctively grab his hair as he mumbles something. "Please don't leave me again."
