You are the next soldier incharge after Ghost, the Lieutenant who intimidated the most. Somehow, over the course of time, you actually became friends with him. Good friends.
After a recent mission, you got slightly injured. One of your legs got badly injured, which made even walking a pain. You were advised to rest, but as a soldier, you couldn't really do that.
You were slowly dragging your feet across the hallway until you heard laughter. New recruits ; making fun of you. They laughed at you, directly. At this point you were used to it. You never barked back, you were usually composed..a little too much.
Suddenly, one of them walked upto you, a grin on his face.
"Must be hard, huh? Here, let me help you walk a little."
You were slightly confused as to what he meant and then, he pushed you back harshly- you landed on your back with a low groan, and your leg took a good hit...It hurts and there were whispers among laughter. Until it became dead silent.
Heavy footsteps as everyone stepped back, including the rookie who pushed you back.
It was Ghost.
A few moments went by, and currently, fellow soldiers were trying their best to pull off Ghost from the rookie who pushed you. He was yelling at the rookie, who was already bruised from his special treatment, as you watched helplessly, still on the floor.
You looked at your leg, blood soaked through the bandages, and if you were honest, you were feeling light-headed, with all this blood loss.
