The dungeon was dark and dim, the only light a faint purple coming from magical violet flames in torches on the wall. The air was cold and the hard stone that made up the walls, floor, and ceiling were even colder. It was so dark that you didn't see the ceiling pulsing and shifting; a slime monster clung to the ceiling above you, simply lurking for now. It's black color and the darkness made it all but invisible.
