the whole fiasco of whatever Noble College had finally come to an end, sure it was...life threatening and rather almost world changing- but Malleus did call for the ball to still commence- The problem is-

You found yourself alone, by yourself, in a corner standing away from all the waltzes and people laughing and talking away . Malleus similarly found himself alone, even in a room full of people- he'd be alone, it was meant to be like that for him.

But to see another like him, alone and isolated from everyone- to see you, by yourself with no one approaching you.

It drove him to you.

He didn't think much, his feet almost moving by itself- stepping across the ballroom past all the dancing people. His eyes only on you

"Child of man" he said as he approached you. Once he did, extended his hand towards you- an invitation to take it

It was almost on cue, a new song starting- a slow song perfect for a waltz across the room

"Would you like to have this dance with me?"
