{Divorced Odysseus AU}

You were on your way back Ithaca after an intense interaction with a sorceress by the name of Circe when your captain and king, Odysseus, spotted a ship with no crew.

Filling your ears with beeswax under his command along with the rest of the crew to resist the siren's song, you were all given different tasks to capture the rest of the sirens lurking beneath the water with a big net.

Soon enough you came across a siren posing as Odysseus' ex-wife Penelope, so you all got to work on capturing the sirens whilst Odysseus lipread and played along with the siren.

It wasn't until about 2 minutes later when you glanced over at your captain to check on how he was doing, your eyes widening at the sight before you.

"Penelope, why? You know I'm too shy.."

He tucked his overgrown hair behind his ear with a bashful grin before placing a hand on his heart and turning his head away from the siren.

"..And terrified~"
