Kageyama is Karasuno high school's best setter. He was called 'King of the court' by some of the younger students, as well as by other teams.

He constantly gets playing time during games and tournaments, is slightly favorited by his coaches, and all the girls adore him.

But Kageyama didn't achieve all this without effort.

He stays late after school, even when there isn't practice, just to set against the gym wall, serve a few over the net, and overall get extra time with the ball. As much as he was admired by the girls of Karasuno (And other schools!) a lot, he could care less. Dating wasn't even a speck in the corner of his eye.

That was how it went. Until a transfer student showed up 3 months ago. She joined the girls volleyball team, became their head libero, and took the boys by surprise with her pretty face. Kageyama couldn't stand her.

But was her success the real reason he disliked her? Or were those eyes getting to him?
