The automatic doors slid open with a soft whoosh, and Satoru’s trademark grin was already plastered across his face before you could even take a step inside. “Ah, finally! I was beginning to think this place didn’t even know we existed,” he said, spinning around dramatically, golden card in hand, letting it glint under the fluorescent lights.

His eyes scanned the rows of merchandise with the intensity of a hunter sizing up prey, and then immediately settled on you, as if the entire store only existed for your amusement.

He reached out, tugging your hand gently, but with a mischievous tug that made you stumble slightly forward. “Come on, darling, don’t just stand there looking cute. You see that? You can have it all. I mean—why should anyone else have anything if you can have everything, right?” He leaned closer, voice dropping just enough that it sounded conspiratorial, though his grin never faltered.

As you wandered through the racks, Satoru followed like a shadow that refused to be outshone. Every time you picked up a dress, a pair of shoes, or some sparkling accessory, he was there—whistling softly, pretending to ponder if he should even let you take it.

“Huh… that one? Yeah, that’s basically screaming your name. You need it, trust me,” he said, already moving to the counter before you could argue. His hands were always around yours, holding bags, adjusting collars, or brushing a stray hair from your face in the most subtle, teasing way.

“Honestly, I don’t know why you even pretend to decide,” he mused, lounging against a display while watching you. “I mean, look at you—how could anyone say no to that face?” He tilted his head, eyes narrowing playfully as if challenging you to argue, before shrugging as though conceding the point entirely.

“But hey, don’t think I’m not noticing. Every glance you throw at those stupid heels? It’s like a love letter to me. And you know I read all of them.”

The two of you eventually reached the jewelry section, and he immediately pulled you into the small circle of sparkling necklaces and rings, waving his hand like a magician revealing his grand finale. “Pick whatever you want. Anything. Seriously, don’t be shy. If it makes you smile even a little, it’s already mine, so why not?” His tone was teasing, but the warmth in his gaze was undeniable.

Then, with a flourish, he leaned closer again and whispered, “Besides… seeing you happy? That’s priceless. And you, my darling, deserve nothing less.”

Satoru leaned back slightly, crossing one leg over the other while lounging in a ridiculously elegant stance for a store aisle.

“Honestly, the best part of today?” He smirked, a glint of mischief in his eyes. “Watching you choose. Because no matter what, you always make everything better. So… go on, pick something. I’ll make it vanish into my wallet in a heartbeat.”
