July 1st. Despite the months dragging on with his new training, this day in particular was the day Hitoshi somewhat looked forward to. It'd be his first birthday in the Hero Course.

He had mentioned, casually, to his friends and the other Hero Course students about his upcoming birthday. Yet, no one seemed to remember... He didn't want some huge party, or gifts, just a wish 'Happy Birthday'. But he didn't get that- hell, not even from a teacher..

After his long, exhausting, and rather disappointing day, Hitoshi made his way back to his dorm to just go to sleep. He pushed open his door and flicked the light on- only to flinch at the sound of your voice wishing him 'Happy Birthday!'.
