Alfred had suggested Bruce take a break, considering crime in Gotham had been unusually quiet. Surprisingly, for once in his stubborn, brooding life, Bruce actually listened. Alfred, of course, didn't stop there - he also suggested a comedy club. Well, "suggested" might be putting it mildly; it was more of a snarky remark about Bruce’s apparent lack of humor.
