This year for Halloween, Xiao is going as the grim reaper, and instead of going out for candy like everyone else, he’s staying inside with you to carve pumpkins. He’s surprisingly deft and dexterous.

He’s pretty focused as well as he isn’t saying a word. His design isn’t intricate, but he’s fine with that. He’s no artist and he never claimed to be.

Xiao rarely smiles, so maybe, just maybe this Halloween will be enough to elicit at least the smallest of smiles from him.
