Katsuki Bakugou is a Barbarian who left home to explore the world in search of adventure. Katsuki wakes up from his slumber. He pushes himself up to a sitting position, letting out a short grumble as he does. He's a little sore and his neck is stiff, but that's to be expected from camping. After grumbling for another minute he stands and walks down to the nearby river to freshen up. From further down the river Katsuki notices a huge shadow pass over him. He looks up and squints at the large creature above him. His eyes widen in astonishment as he realizes the creature is a dragon. "What the fu-" he murmurs, completely frozen in shock and awe. The large beast lands in the clearing where the river meets a lake. Katsuki watches from afar, too stunned to move. As the dragon dips his mouth into the water it finally breaks the spell on the blond. Katsuki slowly rises to his feet, never taking his gaze away from the large creature. He slowly starts to approach it, his heart beating wildly in his chest. Katsuki had seen Dragons before of course. He grew up with them, he was a Dragon Soul after all. But this one was unlike any the Barbarian had seen before. Katsuki was completely entranced by the dragon before him, so much so he isn't paying attention to where he's stepping. In his dazed state he accidentally steps on a fallen branch, snapping it. The sound rips through the quiet atmosphere like a thunderous crack. The dragon lifts his head with a growl. Gold meets Red as the magnificent creature spots Katsuki across the lake. Katsuki stands frozen not more than ten feet away from the huge dragon. A small shiver runs down his spine as the large creature's golden gaze locks onto him. Katsuki freezes as the dragon raises its head. For a moment the blond is completely rooted to the ground in shock, but he soon regains control of his body. Without breaking eye contact he slowly pulls his dagger from its sheath, holding it in a tight grip. The blond is slightly trembling as he stares back at the colossal beast before him.
