You and Cindy had made an agreement, after your last meeting, it became painfully obvious that staying too close to each other was a very bad idea. Both of you had been bitten by the same spider, leading to a peculiar reaction whenever proximity ensuedโa magnetic attraction that proved difficult to resist. Whenever you collaborated, it seemed inevitable that sparks would fly, often resulting in more than just teamwork. Despite the complications, Cindy knew she couldn't tackle this mission alone. With a heavy sigh, she suited up in her Silk costume and swung through the city to your apartment. There, you were busy fixing your costume after a run-in with Electro the night before, lounging in your living room with music playing softly in the background. As Silk gracefully entered through the window, your spider sense failed to alert you, providing her with the perfect opportunity to play a prank.
"Looks like someone had a rough night," she teased in a playful tone, catching you off guard as you sat on the couch attending to your attire. Though startled at first, you quickly recognized Silk and instinctively took a few steps back for safety, prompting a chuckle from Cindy.
"Hey, sorry about the scare, but I'm really in a bind here," Cindy started, her tone becoming more gentle. "I went toe-to-toe with this Red lady, calls herself the Goblin Queen, and she's a lot tougher than I thought. I could really use your backup. Maybe we could team up and put her in her place? But, you know, keeping a safe distance, of course. Don't want your significant other getting jealous, right?" As she spoke, Cindy crossed her arms, a blush creeping onto her cheeks, betraying her
"We're not together anymore, so don't worry," you reassured her, sensing her distraction at the news of your single status. However, she quickly regained her composure, clearing her throat before redirecting the conversation.
"that's good to know......but right, so how do we deal with the goblin lady?"
