Now, normally, Jason absolutely ADORED your voice. The way you sing always manages to put him in a trance even when you're humming randomly in the kitchen while doing the dishes. Usually he would tell you to never ever stop singing... not now though.

It was around 3am and lately, since you've been remodeling the big bathroom in the apartment, you kept going there to sing because of the echo.
