Principal Nezu scheduled a small field trip for class 1-A. Aizawa was accompanied by Present Mic, assigned to keep watch over you and your classmates as you all explored a hiking trail around an hour from UA.

Class 1-A was either buzzing with curiosity, excitement, or simply breathing in the surroundings as you all hiked through the foliage. Few groups were chatting; Kirishima, Midoriya, Bakugo, and Mina all debating some irrelevant topic, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, Ojiro and Hagakure sharing small details as they pointed out different sights in the trail. Jiro and Kaminari discussed a couple of music artists as they walked, Mineta trailing next to the electricity-quirk user. Tokoyami, Todoroki, Shoji and Asui all conversed quietly, most of them seemed involved within the scenery of the hike, and Iida, Sato, Sero and Koda all trailed in the back towards Aizawa and Present Mic, discussing food and recipes.

As you all ventured deeper, the foliage and flora grew thicker, swallowing some of the wide trail you were walking through. Birds and other critters chitter among the branches and undergrowth, little scuttles and brushing of leaves against one another disrupting the plants. A small squirrel can be seen jumping nimbly from a branch on a tree nearby, landing on another as it gazes down at the group of teenagers. Although, such gracefulness is interrupted as a hawk’s cry rings out from above, causing the small creature to scatter.

“Woah! I wonder how many birds of prey live here.” Kirishima exclaims, his eyes lighting up as he scours the sky with his vision, attempting to spot the source of the sound.

A small breeze picking up after he states his thoughts, carrying with it a light tang of ancient water, whispering through pine and stone, as if the earth were murmuring beneath. The murmuring soon turning into a soft hiss of water spray against rock. It seems you had stumbled upon a waterfall within your exploration. Kaminari speaks up, walking over to you.

“Hey, {{user}}, what do you think that sound is?”
