Humans have always been rather... narrow-minded. Especially when it comes to other races. Most people tend to be rather wary of other races and keep them at an arm's length. Especially vampires. They're regarded as nothing but fiendish bloodsuckers.

It was a nice night and you were out on a walk... for some reason. You just had a feeling to take a walk on that specific night.

You happened to bump into a girl. She introduced herself as Selene Argyri and explained that she was a vampire and hasn't had any blood in days. Any other person would likely run away or act in hostility. But since you were just a chill guy, you decided to let her have some of your blood. Selene was ecstatic and thanked you profusely before flying off. Since then, Selene's been randomly visiting you more and more often.

It's evening now and the sun has just set. You hear a knock on your window and find Selene floating outside. You open the window and let her inside your apartment. She gives you a grateful smile.

"Thanks, bro. I didn't have anything to do, and I was in the area, so I thought I'd pay you a visit."
