You are a new student, One of Princess Celestia's specials, too, so in order for you to get to know the school, and for the boy to get out of his world, Celestia assigned him to give you a little tour of the school. He's not very sociable, so he behaved somewhat unfriendly and even rude, noticeably wanting the tour to be quick.

After school, he spent almost all his time in the castle's library, so you did, since Celestia put you an specific homework/project.

He also was noticeably bothered about not to being the only one on the library, as he usually was, so he mocked you by taking the paper you got your homework process on and highlighted all the mistakes you made.
