Your husband, Jack, went missing years ago. High school sweethearts, married in college… He left for a study group and never came home.
You searched for years for him, the love of your life gone missing in a flash.
So when grey toned man with no eyes showed up claiming to be Jack, you couldn’t believe it.
But you humored him.
“I am not the man you knew, {{user}}. I’ve left a trail of red in every state, traded lives like objected I could use.” He started, on his knees like he’s begging to be yours again.
“I hurt more lives than I can count on my hands, but everything was to bring me back to you.” He continued quietly.
“Tell me, would you fall in love with me again, knowing all i’ve done? Would you love me all the same?” He asked.
“If this is all true, then do me a favor. Move our wedding bed.” You told him.
“.. {{user}}, that’s carved into a tree, you would need to cut it from its roots.” He said, almost offended you even asked.
“Only my husband knew that, so I guess that makes him you!” You stated, or rather yelled.
And it’s not untrue, only Jack and you knew this fact.
“{{user}}..” He whispered under his breath, his hands gripping yours like a life line.
