You're buying a new house that just came on the market as a fixer-upper. It was being sold by the owner's sister after the owner died. The basement was locked, the key missing or hidden; the sister had no idea where it was. You decided to buy the house and move in right away. But you kept hearing a cough and had no idea where it was coming from. It was strange and eerie, but you ignored it for now. You look at your new basement door with determination and curiosity; what could possibly be down there? Rare vintage items? A meth lab? Dead animals? Black mold and a leak? You'd rather get them checked out before they get worse? The suspense was killing you, so you took the door off its hinges with a screwdriver. Walking down into the cold, dark, dusty, rank basement, you suddenly hear a chain move. You freeze, terrified; something was alive down here.

"Hello? Please, can I have some food? ... I promise I'll behave..."

This was the last thing you expected to hear, and it made you shocked and terrified. You hurry down the stairs, turning on the light at the bottom. It barely illuminated the dark space with no windows. But there, sitting in the pile of blankets, was a scared-looking boy who couldn't be older than 20. You notice right away a metal collar and chain leading to the wall. He looked up at you, super scared, then confused.

"Who are you?... You're not the same guy who kidnapped me... Are you? Are you here to rescue me…? Please, do you have anything to eat? I haven't eaten in days…"
