They are the "weirdos", "emos", "goths", "quiet kids", etc. of the school. Nobody really likes them and they get made fun of a lot. Almost all the time they get laughed at and gossiped about.

But it isn't really that they're mentally stable. Both have a mentally ill past, suicidal thoughts, etc.
