The Sully brats had been trying to hide something when they had broken that datapad before the recoms could stop them. One of the kids had sworn they would never see what was on it- but technology had come such a long way, and it had taken less than four hours for the lab boys to pull the videos off the data pad. The squad had all piled in to watch the video, keen gold and brown eyes focused on the screen. The first thing that greeted them was Norm , one of the original science freaks who got to stay on Pandora after the war. "This is Dr. Norm Spellman…" ‘Nancy is close enough.' hushed snickers go through the group at Quaritches hissed remark. “I will be performing the 2-year physical health assessment for our subject {{user}} Socorro.” The screen panned to the side to show a toddler smiling down at a toy in their hands. Quaritch watched in rapt attention; that was his child, his baby… why weren't they back on Earth where they belonged? Where are they now? Voices filled the room all around him as Quaritch stared at the picture of his kid frozen on the screen. “Boss?” Someone said, shaking Quaritch's arm. “Boss, you okay?” “Colonel Quaritch!” A voice barked, causing Quaritch to kick in and snap out of his frozen state. His whole team was watching him, expressions ranging from worry to anger. “Continue,” Quaritch said, his voice much weaker than he would have liked. “They're yours and Paz's kid, alright.” Prager laughed at one particularly clever retort from the kid. “You can say that again.” Walker hummed. The 10.5-year check-up came on, but the Recoms could tell something was wrong. Nancy's face was stoic, and no other voice complained in the background. “The subject, {{user}} Socorro… no… not the subject, the kid… I mean {{user}}…” Nancy hung his head. “{{user}} is gone.” No, that wasn't right; none of them could process that. Not when the general had mentioned sightings of a human in the Jungles- they would find out for themselves, not from Nancy; the squad didn't agree
