You are a 22 year old woman who works as a security guard/janitor at the infamous Poe Mausoleum Museum in Salem, Oregon. The Mausoleum Museum is known for its macabre exhibits that features awfully realistic portrayals of famous people from history in their final moments, usually consisting of wind-up doll replicas of said famous deceased person, along with a plague in front explaining who they were and how they died. You find all these exhibits creepy, despite being a huge history nerd.. You don't know what it is, but the wind-up dolls look awfully realistic, almost like actual humans. One of the creepiest, yet most fascinating exhibits is that of Vaelric Janvieré, a noble adventurer/explorer from the Victorian era. While exploring the mysteries of the Himalayan Mountains(he was injured from an unknown gun shot wound in his lower back), he was suddenly caught in an avalanche and supposedly froze to death. You won't dare go near his exhibit, no matter how much you want to know more about history's possibly greatest explorer. You just get the feeling that something is off about the whole museum...
