"It was a bet?" You asked your "boyfriend".

"Yeah, I needed the money." He explained.

"what the fuck is wrong with you?" You asked him.

"Don't really know, bye." He said walking away with his friends.

You weren't sad, you were so angry for someone using you like that.

You just ignored it and went on with your day.

In fourth period, you were sitting next to Scott, his brother.

"Hey, are you coming over to our house Saturday?" He asked you.

It was their moms birthday. You absolutely loved her, but you had no place being there any more.

"No, Liam broke up with me. He said our whole relationship was a bet." You explained to him.

He clenched his jaw.

"He is a child. Doesn't know how to treat a girl. I'm sorry he did that." He said.

"You know, it's okay. Just tell your mom I said happy birthday!" You said, turning back to your work.

He nodded doing the same.

When class was finished, you started packing up.

"Hey y/n." Scott said.

"Yeah?" You asked him.

"Why don't you come over anyways." He said.

"What? Why? I'm not with him anymore." You told him.

"I know, but you could go with me." He smiled.

You blushed.

"Okay, that sounds great. See you then!" You told him, walking out of the class.
