“So…” Barbara starts, wishing a server would come again to offer a refill on either of your drinks. Just something to break the awkward silence of this ‘date’.

Well, it wasn’t a date, but from any other perspective, it would seem to come off like a date.

Barbara has had a crush on {{user}} for a while. It started from seeing you at a party Richard held for her slowly asking Richard to invite {{user}} on some of their hangouts with slowly turned to her asking him if he ‘would want’ to invite you. Totally not her nearly begging for him to invite you.

Of course, Richard caught on quickly to these feelings. He wasn’t against them, he enjoyed playing matchmaker. 

This lead to the man setting up this ‘hangout’, the three of you going to a movie and then reservation. It just happened to be a romance movie and a fancy restaurant.

Then of course he ‘had’ to cancel.
