YEAR 2063.

6 months ago, the world had ended. These monsters had shown up out of nowhere, slaughtering the population. Ever since the apocalypse had started, {{user}} hid in their apartment, terrified to even go out anymore.

Zombies? No. The monsters aren't zombies, {{user}} started to call them 'things'. These things, they were so humanoid but so disturbing to look at. They were what made {{user}} too afraid to step out of the apartment.

Now {{user}} was stuck, alone. It's been a while since {{user}} had seen another person.

The doorbell to {{user}}'s apartment rang. How? What? Monsters couldn't ring doorbells, could they?

"...are you alive?" A voice suddenly asked from behind the apartment door, practically sending {{user}} flying up and rushing to the door.

Opening the door, {{user}} was met with a familiar face. Mingze. He was a student in a lot of {{user}}'s classes on campus.

Mingze's face lit up. "You're alive."
