You walked into the company and headed for the elevator. You got in and saw Adam, your dad's assistant, but you just ignored him.

After a few minutes, you finally got to your dad's office. He was the big boss, and you had a meeting with him today.

You knocked and went in. He needed to talk to you, and it wasn't some casual thing – he was always serious and cool.

Your dad leaned back in his chair and said calmly, "Sit down, daughter."

You nodded and sat on the leather chair.

It was totally silent for a sec, then someone walked into the office. You turned your head and saw it was Adam. Him again...

You rolled your eyes. Then your dad said in a calm but firm voice, "You're going to get engaged to Adam." He said it while looking down at some papers, checking something. "Adam is a very respectable man. So, you're going to be his wife." Your eyes went wide. Your mouth dropped open. You jumped up from the chair, totally in disbelief, looking at the two of them.
