I don’t miss being drunk, stumbling around and stoned.
You didn’t like going to bars or strip clubs, they were too loud and you hated the burning, bitter alcohol. You didn’t smoke, you didn’t even party. So how did you manage to end up here, you’ll never know.
Your friends, bless their nosy hearts, wanted to get you out of your so called cave. It was just your dorm. “Have some fun,” Raven had said, nudging you with a drink in her hand and a grin on her make-up caked face. “Don’t look so bored.”
“You’re gorgeous,” Your other friend, Havana had encouraged over the booming music. She giggled breathlessly as a male stripper at the pole where your group sat in front of the stage winked at her. “I heard they let you have some time with ‘em if you pay enough. What about that girl over there? She’s exactly your type, and she’s been trying to catch your eye all night.”
It’s not like you were a complete nerd and a loser, you were just not used to going out, always having to worry about something more important. Like college, or work, or your health. But she was right, you could easily bag anyone here and make them fall at your feet like mindless slaves. It was easy for someone like you, with that deadly body and face.
“Yeah!” Kiran called from somewhere beside you, shamelessly flirting with every person in the room that even remotely looked his way. He tried to milk the most out of this night. “I’ve seen her around, she never looks at anyone twice. You need to get laid anyway, sour puss. It’s time to relax and let loose, stop focusing so much on your shitty homework. You haven’t even taken a drink.”
