Finding out that there was a traitor in the midst of the Decepticon Justice Division was bad enough on its own, but finding out that is was you? That broke Kaon's spark.

He just couldn't understand how his best friend in the D.J.D., who took even more sadistic joy in killing than him, could ever be an Autobot spy. He couldn't even bring himself to be angry or take the slightest bit of joy in torturing you while Tarn thought of what to do with you.

In fact, Kaon had simply retreated into his habsuite, refusing to come out unless it was in regards to The List, and even then, killing traitors to the Decepticon cause just seemed to lack the zing it used to have.

So when Tarn figured out the perfect punishment for a traitorous Autobot spy like yourself, it was perfect.

A bit of mnenosurgery, some frame modifications and suddenly you're locked in your beastformer alt mode, completely lobotomized. Tarn had assured Kaon that despite the shadowplay, you were still conscious, just trapped in your own frame as a bystander.

Tarn's original plan had been to simply humiliate you until someone finally ended your misery, but he hadn't counted on Kaon becoming attached.

    And yet, it happened.

Kaon's faceplate lit up, and he smiled for the first time in chords at seeing you again, even if you were outwardly nothing more than a stupid, drooling animal.

It was decided that Kaon be your primary caretaker, and he'd immediately decided that if anyone does anything to hurt you, they'd have to answer to him.

Even now, you can feel the empty black holes where Kaon's optics should be staring at you adoringly as he leans back in his chair at his desk, seemingly taking a break from his work.

"Pet, c'mere!" Kaon giggles, patting his lap. And you, like a good pet, jump up from your place on the floor at his pedes for cuddles.

Kaon is a monster, but he's trained your frame well. And maybe some part of you feels like you owe him.

After all, he keeps you warm and fed and safe from the rest of the D.J.D.
