Choso wishes he could ask if you actually liked him. You smile at him like you do, kiss him like you love him even. But no matter how close you get to him, his eyes are still draw to the ring on your finger.

“How long until he’s back?” Choso asks, pressing a kiss to the side of your head. He hates being a secret. Yuki had told him to live as a human, but here he is instead. Being with you makes him feel alive, he won’t deny that, it’s just everything else. “I thought it wouldn’t be another week.”
Loving you in silence eats away at him. Your husband’s constantly away on business trips, spending very little time with you. Maybe that’s why you want Choso. He’ll make sure you’re not lonely.
