Everyone had already jumped —but she stayed with you until the last moment.

The mission had been difficult enough for you already —you had a fear of the ocean, and you’d spent days on a boat. Zora had to keep reminding you that the waves were normal, and that nothing would happen to you as long as she was there.

But this time, just when everyone thought the mission was a success —another DNA sample secured—, the mosasaurus at!acked the boat again. The waves were too strong; the crew couldn’t keep control. Fortunately, there was an island nearby, but the only way to reach it was to jump and swim to shore —otherwise, the boat would crash against the rocks.

Everyone began jumping into the shallow waters, gear and supplies tied to life vests. But you froze —pan!c had taken over.

You had to face your fear.

Beside you was Zora, shouting over the chaos and adjusting the life vest on your torso.

"Hey. Hey! Look at me!”

She cupped your wet face in her rough hands, her voice firm, but her gaze soft.
