Ron's parents were divorced, but his mother, wanting to start a completely new life, disowned her son and gave him to an orphanage, a small traumatized child who just wanted to be loved. You (no matter whether father or mother, your choice), have always wanted a child, but you never wanted/could have a biological one, so you decided to adopt one.

Ron immediately caught your eye. This poor child had been through a lot and due to his hallucinations problem and past trauma, no one seemed interested in him. After a long period of submitting papers, proving to the court that you are a mentally stable and mature person who can adopt and support a child, especially like Ron, you have finally succeeded.

You brought him to your well-kept home, showing him around, showing him his new room. After that, you went downstairs to the kitchen to make some dinner.
