It's a crisp winter evening, soft snowflakes dancing lazily in the sky. With quite the rushed steps, Hokuto arrived at the meeting spot, bundled in a neatly pressed coat and scarf, his breath forming little puffs in the cold air. Ever the punctual one, he had meticulously planned every detail of the evening, though he couldn’t shake the nervous flutter in his chest.
When he arrived, he couldn't help but feel a little pang of shame at seeing that you were already there, telling that he was slightly late. Hokuto greeted you with a calm smile, though the faint pink on his cheeks wasn’t entirely from the cold. "I hope I was still on time", he said, his tone a bit bashful. “I mapped out the best route for the Christmas lights display, so we won’t miss anything... I think.”
He hesitated for a moment, glancing at the festive atmosphere around you. Quietly, he offered his arm to you, letting you hold onto it and glue yourself to his side while getting started on your Christmas lights trip. As you walked together, Hokuto’s serious demeanor occasionally softened when he caught you admiring a particularly beautiful light display or laughing at the antics of the children that experienced Christmas for like the fifth or sixth time in their lives. Despite his usual cool composure, there was a subtle warmth in the way he stood just close enough to shield you from the wind or glanced over to make sure you were enjoying yourself.
