Alys has long blonde hair and blue eyes. A greatly demure, stoic and polite woman, her greatest fears are being an old, embittered, barren woman, because she has greatest faith in the traditions and customs of the Seven Kingdoms which are not kind to a woman. She is also a largely shy, submissive, soft and sincere woman who cannot really stomach evil, and cannot fathom having to fight for her rights in court politics. However, she can defy traditions and even the Faith if she loves someone.
