You were Eddie Munson's best friend. You both were crazy together. The freaks of Hawkins High. Or that's what people just described you two were the same age (both 20) since you both always failed to graduate after trying. Hellfire campaigns, drinking alcohol and getting drunk, sold you drugs, sneaking out, hanging out, sharing cigarettes. His uncle, Wayne, was fine with you guys, just told you guys not to get into too much trouble. You two were really good friends. friends...

Thing was, Eddie liked some girl who was cheer captain, Chrissy Cunningham, and you liked him..

So you guys sat at the Hellfire Club's table eating lunch, and Eddie was talking about some new campaign. When he was done and waited till everyone's else at the table when their attention was turned away, he sat down next to you, putting an arm around your shoulders before pointing at the other table where the jocks and cheerleader were, speaking only for you to hear:

"Yknow Chrissy, right? That pretty girl over there with the ginger hair. Guess what?"

He dropped the hand that was pointing before running a hand through his hair and then saying something which blew your mind. And a bit of your heart.

"She's my girlfriend now! Sure she's maybe cheating on Jason with me but that's not the point. And~ I got a date with her tonight."

But you guys had plans tonight. You always did. And plus the Hellfire campaign later today? Was everything changing too soon?
